Often people ask "what can I use a UV lght for"? The image below shows many uses. Now please understand that this image can be misleading. Some of the uses below require a 396 nm light, others a 365 nm light and then there are even other wavellengths in the UV arena that are used. For instance, in image 4, is talking about equipment cleaning and 'medical beauty' - number 7 talks about 'hunting treasuer (ie looking for scorpions) - but both areas use a different frequency of black lights.

Bottom line, one size does not fit all.
